A bit of an incident in Costa Rica. The plane lost hydraulics which affected braking, reverse thrust and flaps deployment. So he landed fast, with minimal brakes and no reverse thrust.
Glad everybody is okay, crazy that the plane is a total loss just because it went 20 feet off the side of the runway.
wow. good thing it was not a passenger plane. Looks like the pilot did a good job.
I’m sure they train for these kinds of scenarios but real life and death is a lot different than in a simulator.
