Dr. Oz Accuses Americans on Medicaid of Being Couch Potatoes

Dr Oz needs to turn off right wing radio. And hey….if all those illegals were using our Medicaid, those people weren’t on many sofas.

Does Oz think he is somehow going to motivate these people with comments like this?

He’s wasting his time.

So you disagree with Dr Oz and you believe people should live a sedentary lifestyle? Weird, but okay.

I’m saying he is buying into the right wing lie that people on medicaid sit arounod the house and refuse to work.

Lol…they’re not working, they’re sitting around the house getting taxpayer funded health care.

Well, then there will be no cuts to Medicaid

One only has to work with Moochercaid patients, as I have done, to understand what Dr. Oz is saying.

Majority are overweight and have horrible diets. Smoking and drug use is very common.

Think talking to them about prevention would help? More productive to bang you head against a brick wall. A fatalistic attitude toward life is common. When I used to counsel smoking cessation, the response would almost always be, “Gonna die of something no matter what I do. Might as well enjoy life.”

Poor people aren’t know for making good decisions.

I looked the definition of “Couch Potato” and got this:

 Is it a Russet or is it a Kennebec?

I dunno, but it’s got that funny brownish skin on the bottom.:slightly_smiling_face:
