Thankfully the election is next year. Just like Tradeau’s party was slated to lose, by April, the GOP will be shining bright

My prediction. Today Democrats 53, GOP 47
House: Democrats 260-270, GOP 185-195

Next year 2026 general election

GOP 51 / Democrats 47 I-2
House 225-235 Democrats / 200-210 GOP with Jefferies as speaker and Johnson in the minority

Jeffries is such an unmitigated disaster that there will be a major reversal in 2028. Both parties will have 2 years to explain the gridlock

Is that first one for the Senate? It would be damn near impossible for the Dems to take the Senate in 2026. You have to look at the map and understand that the Republicans have an advantage generally, but especially in 2026.
