His singing partner[Jim Seals] died back in 2022
Sad to hear that. When my dad transferred from Orlando to Dallas in his job back in 1973, I had just turned 15 and as the plane (Eastern L1011) climbed out of the airport and banked to turn north, over the place I grew up, this was playing on the planes audio system. I still see and feel that moment like it was yesterday, and it still brings a tear to my eye.
I do remember Seals and Crofts, and I likely had a couple of their records. Once one of their songs got into my head, I could not easily get it out. So, I haven’t listen to one in a long time.
