College student put on academic probation for using Grammarly: ‘AI violation’

I’m not a fan of the AI or the accusing people of using AI because of issues with telling apart what is a students work and what is something “that is beyond their capacity”

The problem is how can you distinguish commonly used words or phrases and someone who intentionally uses a ghost writer whether electronic or in person

Grammarly shouldn’t cause this. Turnitin can be useful, but it still requires human eyes. There is a false positive rate.

Can someone explain what her major is - “a human services and delivery and administration major?”

Related to social work and such. Closest thing we had involved drug and alcohol counseling. Here’s the one for her school:

Master of Science in Human Services Delivery and Administration.

I have no idea but it sounds like the top pay is under $40,000 a year.

Thanks. My SIL and BIL are both MSWs and I have never heard of that.
