I asked google AI search for the torque for a drive shaft bolt on a 2022 ford maverick. It said 86 ft#. I know that there is no 8mm bolt that can withstand 86 ft#. The source was some dude’s facebook post about unrelated vehicle.

Maybe that’s where Stephen Colbert gets his information. Maybe that’s when people, including Trump, are wrong when they don’t verify if misinformation is true or false, in this case false.
As amazing as AI is - it is not immune to the adage “garbage in - garbage out”. And if it’s going to be using Facebook…the world’s petri dish for AI generated bullshit, the we will continue to be the dumbest civilization in human history
