One of my favorite authors, Tim Dorsey, passed away so I discovered Hiaasen who is supposed to have a similar style.
He also co wrote a song on Jimmy Buffets last album and has co wrote songs with Warren Zevon.
Funny thing is his first book is from 1986 so it is weird to hear them talk about “pagers” as if they are new technology.
Hiaasen is funny.
I would recommend Tim Dorsey, hilariously twisted.
Oh, check out this guy. I wonder what happened to him.
This one is non-fiction, at least sort of. After that, hé went into hilarious crime fiction.
Hiaasen’s books are entertaining and very cleverly done. I can’t help but laugh out loud sometimes when reading him. I’ve read 5-6, but he has many more out there.
