My mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor on 7/5. She was having short term memory issues and balance issues. I thought she had a stroke and contacted her long term primary care doctor. They scheduled MRI but the hospital was unable to complete it. A few days later I got her to go to ER where they discovered a brain tumor. She then followed up with a MRI on Sunday and they confirmed the original diagnosis. We contacted MD Anderson and she has an appointment in a few days there. The hurricane has disrupted Houston and they are running behind. My mom is only 70. This came on very quickly. If you had asked me about it just a couple of weeks ago, I would have said there is no issue. There were probably signs before hand than nobody picked up on. If you have elderly loved ones, check on them often.

Sorry you’re having to deal with this.
Good luck with everything, hope she beats it or slows it way down.
Yep, sometimes by the time you figure it out it’s too late. Sorry you’re going through this.
