If the New York Giants and New York Jets can play in New Jersey, why not?
From the article;
“Warren’s letter notes the Bears are not asking for state taxpayer dollars to build the Arlington Park stadium, but concedes they are asking for a commitment to infrastructure upgrades such as roads and utilities”
Sanity may be prevailing.
The Royals have severely overplayed their hand in trying to find a new stadium site here in the KC area
Broncos are planning a new stadium with no public $.
To be fair, they’re now owned by Walmart people, so this is pocket change to them.
The Hammond Bears just doesn’t cut it.
If the Bears move out of Chicago it would be a big loss to the city. I doubt they’d ever move to Indiana, but the property in Arlington Heights is perfect. It’s huge, right off a major highway, has a train stop across the street and would be an entertainment complex and not just a stadium.
That cuts about as well as the East Rutherford Giants and Jets.
In the mean time, the only professional football team in the State of New York is the Buffalo Bills.
