Battery Health

My iPhone is now four years old but its battery health capacity is 87 and I have no problem installing new updates. Do you think I should buy a new iPhone.

I’d keep it as long as it’s still working ok and they are still doing updates for your version.

Nope, if you’re fine with it’s performance keep it.

No. If you’re happy with it. Keep on going.

Only if there is a specific reason for wanting something in a new phone that you are not getting now. It does not sound like that is the case.

I see no reason to buy a new one, unless you are feeling extremely charitable towards Apple’s shareholders.

What prompted this question? Are you concerned about the battery’s reduced capacity?

On the iPhone navigate to…
Settings/Battery/Battery Health & Charging and verify that Optimized Battery Charging is enabled.
