Dude…I’ve been retired seven years and never been happier. Hell…I’m in front of my computer a helluva lot less than you are. I might have had a happier work life if I could have been online as much as your job allows you to be.
Two points:
- It depends on the job and the person, if it’s a mission-critcal position yes, but you won’t have that many candidates, if it isn’t then it depends on how important it is, if it’s a minimum-wage entry-level job a checklist or AI will do.
- If you are the one applying, and it’s an hourly-wage job and you’re over 45, you should probably be looking for something else.
