Any One Here Using MS Access Database?

I need some help with a database that I have created and ned to generate a report.

I used to use it a lot at work but it’s been 5 years since I’ve even looked at it. Isn’t that a “wizard” you can use to create a report?

used it when I worked 20 years ago.

I used the Wizard and it generates a report.

Here’s my report:

I want to have a total at the bottom of the report by gallons and cost.

It has been over 5 years and I wasn’t good then.

I’m far from an expert, but…Summing in reports - Microsoft Support

I did a lot of departmental reporting out of Access, but instead of a static report I created pivot tables in Excel to pull the data. The report usually was the final totals, but the user could drill down by clicking on the total.

That worked.

Thanks

Dearie me.

Back in my business career we used to swear by, or swear at, File Maker Pro. Is that still a thing?

Here’s what the final report looks like in Excel.

Yep: Claris Store: FileMaker Pro.

I never heard of it until you mentioned it.

I have some limited experience with Oralcle and coded a while with Pascale.

That tells you something about my age.

I want it to be known.
This officially makes you a giant nerd.

You mispelled it.
