Slusser also expressed safety concerns for opponents playing against Fleming.
“Brooke estimates that Fleming’s spikes were traveling upward of 80 mph, which was faster than she had ever seen a woman hit a volleyball,” Slusser’s complaint read. “The girls were doing everything they could to dodge Fleming’s spikes but still could not fully protect themselves.”
To @kcflyer:
This is the point I and others tried making to you earlier about women forfeiting games in this situation. I applaud these teams for taking this stand.
This is one Liberal position that I will never understand…how people with even an ounce of intelligence can believe that a biological male is the same as a female. I put people that actually believe this in the same camp as the flat earthers…
To be fair, this is the adults in the room standing up for what is right.
If I remember right I (and I could be wrong), KC was talking about the players who had no choice but to play for fear of losing their scholorship.
I get what KC was saying.
If one team forfeits they could lose out on postseason and hurt their players.
But it appears that enough coaches and ADs have pulled their heads out of their asses and are doing the right thing.
All it takes is the “second follower” to really start a movement.
