I would agree, and I can’t say I blame them.
I don’t think it’s a reasonable interpretation of their TOS to have people permanently located in different households sharing the same login under one payment.
I’m getting to the same place now. I don’t care to pay for something that we’re using sparingly, and I don’t want to be feeling the pressure to watch it just to justify the expense.
Much rather be out socializing in person. I feel that ubiquitous/endless media availability is kind of a curse instead of a blessing, because it gives people an incentive to stay in rather than living life.
Good to have some options for once in a while, but I’m not so much into daily use.

I agree, we like having people over to our house for game night and just hanging out a few times a month.
One thing frugal people (cheapskates) do is have one streaming service at a time for a month and binge the shows they want to watch, then cancel and sign up for a different service and do the same.
