What Is The Dumbest Thing You Ever Believed?

Dumbest thing - Non-political.

That the FBI did the right thing at Waco and Ruby Ridge.

As I aged I saw what an injustice that was.

Correct on the first part, but the person referenced was recently in front of the US Senate, so that sort of made it political.

Fair enough, I just missed it when I looked at the thread.

Tah-tah-tah… Politics not the water cooler

Religion, until I was in my mid twenties and actually read the bible.

when I was growing up, I knew a lot of beautiful women who weren’t very bright who are married to ugly men who are very intelligent at the time. I couldn’t understand how such a beautiful woman could be married to an ugly man. Now I wonder how such an intelligent man could be married to a woman who wasn’t very bright.

Don’t even think about pissing on a wailing wall!

Everyone should read the bible. It’s critical to understanding western literature. Same with Iliad and the odyssey.

I saw thing on Facebook. If you buy a Bible and never read it, you are Catholic. If you buy a Bible and only read the part you want, your evangelical. If you buy a Bible, read it and analyze it, you’re an atheist

Or just someone that wants to under western culture. The shit is everywhere. Lord of the Rings, Narnia, The Matrix, The Green Mile, etc etc

When i was younger i didn’t think it was feminine to be smart so when I was in high school, I didn’t like people to know that I was smart with the exception of a few good friends

I’m sure that this will elicit an orange man bad comment, but he just proposed a $1.35 trillion “policy” in Dallas.

To be consistent, this is water cooler, not politics.

Here’s a non-political one.

If men just try harder to be nice and pleasing, women will be attracted to them.

from watching Perry Mason, I thought that a defense attorney would not accept the case unless he thought the person was really innocent

When I was a kid, I thought that when I grew up I would have all the answers. Instead, I just have more questions.

When I was 16 I had all the answeres.

I normally just have questions when I look at my fellow Americans. The choices they make leave me baffled.
