The Science of Happiness

I remember reading a book by a psychologist when I was in college who said that happiness is determined by the gap between what a person expects and what they actually achieve.

So the key to happiness is to have realistic expectations.

That is why some people are happy with relatively little while some very successful people are not happy.

I agree. You also get out of life what you put in, if someone does the minimum that’s what they’ll get back.

I have a different take on it than most. This is one of my favorite things.

Oatmeal makes me unhappy too. Too many carbs.
