But if AT&T cannot figure out how to make HBO Max available for their non-California customers, then they are worthless pieces of crap.

If they really wanted to prove a point they would pull out of California.
I doubt they would ever do that. They’re as much a part of the Swamp as Commiefornia itself.
A couple of years ago when Net Neutrality was big in the news, my 16 y/o son (14 at the time), talked about this exact type of thing happening.
He knew more about how the market works than the majority of elected officials.
