This should make things interesting in Los Angeles. He made the Rams relevant again. The Angels are in a similar situation where the fans will come out for a good product but where the on-field product has been shit for way too long.
Here’s hoping for a renewed meaningful rivalry with the Dodgers.
Well, I hate Kroenke, so I will not go from not caring one way or another to hating the Angels.
Seriously, St Louis Rams fans feel the same way about Kroenke as Los Angeles Rams fans felt about Georgia Frontiere.
And I would argue both were justified, except that Frontiere didn’t lose a lawsuit for violating a lease agreement.
We have been through this before. Kroenke did not violate the lease agreement. The issue was with the NFL and its relocation guidelines. Why do you keep repeating the same thing when you know it is not true.
Edit: If you want to be pissed about Kroenke getting out of the lease, you should direct your ire to the brilliant politicians who gave Frontiere the sweetheart deal that let the Rams terminate the lease if the Dome was not in the top 25% of NFL stadiums. Nobody, and I mean nobody, could argue the Dome was anywhere near that when the Rams left.
Then he paid almost 800 million because he felt guilty, which I highly doubt.
Again, the lawsuit was with the NFL, not Kroenke. You may detest Kroenke and loathe him for moving the Rams out of St Louis. That is fair and understandable. However, for somebody who is usually big on facts, what you say here is not totally accurate.
And, do you agree or disagree with my edit in my earlier post about the sweetheart lease that they gave the Rams in the first place?
Kroenke was a named plantiff in the lawsuit, as was the NFL.
Kroenke paid over 70 percent of the final settlement since it never made it to court.

This is true, he proved that an owner can self finance a stadium.
But, with what he had to pay out to St. Louis his grandkids will not see a profit from this move.

Not really, over half a billion dollars, plus what he is paying for his stadium in LA, and St Louis was going to be stupid enough to pay for his stadium. He is losing money for decades on this.
I am pretty sure I have a fair view of Kroenke.
