Bonchon chicken is the bomb
Aw ya’ll seem to be into fancy stuff. Steak is pretty rare around here; I much prefer good hamburger. Depending on the dish, greazy can be OK if it is getting cooked out, or lean needed for other. Not sure I discern a lot, but wife made a great one today out of Aldi’s 93% grass fed HB.
As far as club stores, I find scam’s to be unacceptable. Took it for a year on with the walmart gift card for the value of the membership. I am just not going to pay money to get insulted by walmart employees. Will shop the real walmart instead.
Costco is a regular every week or two even though it is further. We got a new draw down that way with a brand new Sprouts store. Works well until helper tries to BS wife by declaring that his Alaska salmon was never frozen. Wife is from Alaska and knows her fish!
Almost too crispy, but tasty sauce.
I love the crunch. The sauce is addictive. I go to the one in Schaumburg. It always makes me sick as a dog because I eat too much.
There used to be a Korean food truck in my area but they must have been a victim of the pandemic or moved to a different area, I haven’t seen them since spring 2021. My kid prefers Thai and my wife likes Filipino and Szechuan. I’ll eat any of them.
I am not a huge fan of Thai. It often seems bland to me. Yes, it is spicy but otherwise bland.
To this day, over 25 years later, the chicken I had in Korea still makes my mouth water.
Literally nothing compares to it.
Do you eat Indian food?
My wife had never had it, and I had a bad experience about 10 years ago.
But my daughter came back from college and talked us into getting some.
Holy cow it was good! Flavorful, but not spicy just to be hot.
Everyone has had a bad experience with Indian food.
I am not a huge fan. It is extremely unhealthy and most of the flavors are just eh to me. I do like butter chicken but once again that isn’t the healthiest option.
I had no idea that heart disease is a major issue in India. My indian co-workers were talking about how unhealthy the food is and in America we think it is healthy. lol
I’ll eat it but it’s not in my first few choices, but I’ll eat a boatload of garlic naan.
Same here. I try to eat fairly healthy. Indian due to its fat level can just destroy me as a person. As such I avoid it.
Now I do make some healthy Indian food at home with rice.
I started using a local butcher shop because of the high quality and selection, and the prices are not that much higher than local supermarkets. The problem with Costco is I must buy enormous packages of meat. I would rather have meat fresh than frozen then defrosted.
Plus I can buy the exact quantity of ground beef I need.
