This is my favorite Hanukkah song and you don’t have to be Jewish to appreciate it.

This song was written by Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary and was first performed at Carnegie Hall in 1982. Prior to publishing it Peter Yarrow consulted with the former head of Israel to insure that it did not have any controversial lyrics because he wanted it to have universal appeal.
