Hearing aids

I have bad earwax and it builds up pretty bad in mine.

I’ve almost lost earbuds a couple of times on airplanes. I’d be replacing them all the time.

Buy a cord, that is what I do and it helps. It doesn’t keep them in the ear but it does help when they fall out.
That is why I wouldn’t want to wear them all day. I use them when I am sitting still.

Mine isn’t to bad. It goes in spurts.

Medicare also doesn’t cover hearing aids, although a few Medicare Advantage Plans do. I think this bill would add hearing coverage to Medicare.

Wait until you are retired. Medicare is great but it doesn’t cover (or has minimal coverage) for hearing and vision.

My Medicare advantage plan does cover up to $1,000. Which is why the online ones look appealing to me.

Routine vision is not covered by Medicare. My optometist is monitoring me for glaucoma and cataract, and some of that cost is covred. I am also going in for a cataract removal in the near future, and that is covered (with extra self pay if you want a distance or stymatism lens).

Our advantage plans here are not that great, so I have a supplemental plan.
