I remember the story lines with the Broncos with Reeves, John Elway and Mike Shanahan in the early 1990s. I also remember reading a column once where the author pointed out that Reeves’ offense held Elway back, adding that Elway wouldn’t have had so many late-game comeback drives if not for Reeves’ offense limiting Elway during the game in the first place.
